As defined by The City of Ann Arbor’s and The City of Ypsilanti's Noise Control Ordinance, “It shall be unlawful for any person to create, assist in creating, permit, continue or permit the continuance of any unreasonably loud, disturbing, unusual or unnecessary noise which annoys, disturbs, injures, or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of others within the limits of the City of Ann Arbor.”
Noise. Making excessive noise or creating any disturbance late at night (after 10:00 pm) or early in the morning (before 7:00 am) is prohibited. Complaints to Baker Street of noise from property neighbors, the City, or HOA shall be shared with the Tenants, and the Tenants shall be subject to fines and fees.
If the noise issue involves a neighbor, kindly report the noise disturbance by calling the Ann Arbor Police Department at 734-994-2911.
We also encourage tenants to try to work things out civilly with their neighbors. If the noise concern persists, then please reach out to Baker Street via a ticket to share your noise concern (including details such as the type of noise and day/time).
We will correspond with the other tenant ask that they are respectful of their neighbors and keep excessive noise to a minimum.
